Lauren Boston is an experienced and dedicated childcare professional with over 13 years of experience supporting vulnerable children and young people across a range of care settings, including semi-independent and residential placements. Previously working as a Home Manager at Homes2Inspire for over 2.5 years, Lauren’s experience has shown effective leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stable environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people.
Lauren holds a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare, currently completing the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare and has demonstrated strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. She has progressed through roles from Support Worker to Deputy Home Manager at Homes2inspire, evidencing a consistent track record of professional development, leadership, and commitment to high standards of care.
Lauren is skilled in care planning, risk assessment, staff supervision, and multi-agency working, with a clear focus on safeguarding and meeting the individual needs of children. She is committed to developing staff teams, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering trauma-informed, child-centred care within a structured and supportive environment.
Outside of her role, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and visiting the beach, which helps her stay focused and maintain resilience in her work.
She values meaningful connections and enjoys engaging in activities that promote wellbeing and positive relationships, such as team-building exercises, creative projects, and community involvement. Lauren is also passionate about creating warm, homely environments and often takes an interest in home improvement and interior spaces to ensure young people feel safe, welcoming and nurtured.
